Earlier today, it was announced that Justin Bieber had released a new single, entitled "We Were Born For This". The single has been recieving buzz, but not for the reasons you might think. Instead of fans praising Bieber or applauding him on releasing new music, it seems many are focusing on the similarities the single's artwork (shown above) has to that of alternative-rock band Paramore's 2007 album, Riot! (Also shown above). One look at both artworks allows you to see the similarities: both share the same scratchy penmanship, both have lines going through each "o", and the writing is going in different directions. At closer inspection of Riot! as a whole, you're also able to see that Paramore have a song, entitled "Born For This", that features the lyrics "we were born for this".
It has also come to light that the single's artwork may have been taken from a Paramore fanblog, with many music sites saying the art is from 2011.
So what do you think? Is Bieber a Paramore fan like the rest of us or has he blatantly ripped them off?
